W4HOD

HODARS is based in Lee County, Alabama. W4HOD formed in July 2007 and our third anniversary is fast approaching. The club was formed as an informal club option to the already established East Alabama ARC-W4LEE.

Since the club’s founding, our emphasis has migrated towards contesting. We are very fortunate to have two excellent CW operators, as well as several RTTY operators in our membership. We operate various CW, RTTY, and SSB contests throughout the year. We are the recent recipient of the LOTW Triple Play Award No. 353. If you hear W4HOD on the bands, please stop by and say hello.
