Meetings
HODARS meets monthly, on the second Tuesday at 7 PM. Due to being dislocated from the Loachapoka Community Club House, HODARS has been looking for a permanent meeting place. After trying several locations, we have found a great place to hold our meetings.
We have chosen the Health Resource Center at 2027 Pepperell Parkway, across from the East Alabama Medical Center. The HRC has very nice meeting rooms with wireless technology and nice flat screen monitors for our presentations and programs. Beginning in 2009, we will periodically have a speaker and program. The program will take the place of the business meeting. So far we have had offers of programs on wire antennas, emergency communications, and other interesting topics. HODARS usually meets for supper before each meeting. In the past, we have met at a local restaurant at 6 PM CT for a meal and fellowship. Beginning in September, 2010, we will periodically enjoy our meal in the meeting room at the HRC. Check our web site for details on our monthly meal.
